In the midst of all the sickness we had recently, we all got out of the house for one big fun thing. Silas' friend Jack turned 4 and his family planned a swimming party to celebrate. I was going to be so disappointed if we had to miss, so was glad when we woke that morning and everyone was well enough to go. All three of our children absolutely loved it! We hadn't been swimming since last summer so I really didn't know how they would act in the water. Simeon and Lieren showed no fear, splashed around and played with great joy till the very last minute. Silas was trying out his Puddle Jumper (seriously the best floatie invention ever) for the first time so spent most of his time in the deeper water with Shane. I waded and played with Sim and Lieren in the shallow waters.
I really love the photos of Simeon. It is how I picture him when I think of him in my head, but I can never capture that excited passion on camera. Finally I kind-of did...
