Pool Days, Pool Days

We are almost done with school around here. Silas and I will finish tomorrow and the preschool gang has their last day next week. We are all looking forward to the relaxing days of summer ahead of us.

Silas has made a sudden great improvement in his swimming and swam the length of the pool twice yesterday. His goal is to pass the swim test with the lifeguards so he can go down the big slides. He is motivated and we were all so proud of him yesterday. 

Sim and Lieren are not far behind with their swimming but still have to wear their floaties some.  They generally don't mind. 

Blaise always finds his own fun!

And he was sure he needed to wear his boots...

We got summer haircuts today so we are even more ready...

And this is going to be the look of the back of our van for a while, all the beach and pool stuff housed permanently for the summer...
