Coming Up for Air

Last week we took the whole week off for a delightfully slow and relaxed spring break.  I needed it desperately.  And even today as we begin to settle back in to routine, I am thankful for the room to breathe last week.

We went to one of our favorite parks and had dinner downtown last Sunday.

On Monday we spent a rainy day at Magic Kingdom.  Thankful for rain ponchos!

We took time to explore Mark Twain's island, which we had never done before...

And we were once again picked to be part of the show on the Laugh Floor...
Simeon deemed it the "best day ever" when, late in the evening, we got popcorn "On the Mouse," as the sweet lady said.  I agree, free is always awesome!
We spent the next several days playing with friends.  Three days and three playdates made for happy kids.

We ended the week playing with the neighbors, who have become good friends.  And then spent an afternoon and evening with Nana and Papa.

I am hopeful that the week off has replenished enough wind in our sails to soar through these last few weeks of school.  At least I don't feel like I am gasping for air any more.  A bit of space to breathe was a gift.
