There have been a few moments this week that I don't want to forget...
.
1. Silas has a runny nose and can't breathe very well. He has needed a bit more cuddling and rocking at naptime and bedtime. The other night I was rocking and singing to him as he drifted off to sleep, kind of propped around my side with his head on my tummy. I realized that these are the last few days of me getting to rock and sing to all 3 of my babies at the same time. While it is terribly uncomfortable, I'm cherishing the quiet moments of us 4 in the rocking chair at once.
.
2. Grandma and Grandpa came to visit over the weekend. Grandpa Lee did all kinds of helpful house projects, which was a huge blessing. And they both wore Silas out with activity. Grandma took Silas out in the backyard a couple times to play in the "waterfall". Silas LOVED it...
3. We spent time with good friends on Memorial Day. Julie and I took a couple pictures together of our very pregnant selves. Then promised each other we would not post them on our blogs!
4. It's a good thing I love our puppies so much. This little crazy one adds to the reason I stay so warm at night. As if it isn't enough that I'm carrying two babies, he has to go and sleep on the air vent! I will often call him to move and when he comes over, his chest is freezing cold.
5. This evening I was not up for making dinner so the three of us ran to Chick-fil-a. Thanks so much to Shane's Aunt Joyce...she totally knew what I would love so sent us a gift card to our favorite quick place to eat! As we were heading out, Shane said that we should probably appreciate how easy it is to decide to run out at the last minute right now. In a few weeks, we won't be going anywhere quickly!
