Sometimes I look at his room and think, really? It's like I don't even know myself for allowing this madness in our house. But at the same time, it's fun to see what's important to him.

Some Days Are Just Made for Swimming
The kids have gotten to spend a lot of warm summer days out at Grandma's house. The pool is perfect for their ages. Today we had Grandpa there too, which always adds to the fun. Thankful for this sweet oasis on days like today.

Summer Memories 2015: Soccer
Our older 3 played soccer this summer. We ended the season a while back but I wanted to remember it anyway. Every Tuesday and Thursday evening was an experience of some sort. Thankfully, all 3 ended on a great note!
If this season is any kind of predictor of the future...
Lieren may very possibly never play again,
Simeon may not only have years of soccer ahead but some tackle football too,
and Silas may keep getting out there, giving his whole heart and all the energy he has simply for a love of the game.
One more soccer memory from this summer is that more times than not we made a run by Dunkin Donuts on our way home. They were always out of some kinds we would have chosen but the workers were great and always gave us a discount. We even got them free a couple times!
Blaise still asks for "Kunkin Donuts"...ha!
